GKR Clothing Line Released

The full range has yet to be revealed...

On the 24th and 25th of June, GKR launched its new range of branded clothing at the Swiss-Grand hotel in Bondi Beach, Australia.

The range will expand the current line of branded merchandise to include a variety of T-shirts, track suits, vests and a variety of, as yet unspecified other items.

GKR has produced some excellent tournament T-shirts for past three or four years, more or less settling on a two-colour design, with contrasting sleeves and collar, and designs front and back. This design appears to be repeated in the new official line, offering you the opportunity to declare your club loyalty even when you are not in a gi.

Although the launch offered attendees a discount on purchases on the day, in what some may call typical GKR style, the full range was not available, so most people had to satisfy themselves with T-shirts.

However, the really excellent news is that GKR's looong-awaited online store goes live by the end of July and all of these items will be available there.

Whether items will be shipped directly from Australia, to the UK and USA, which would incur additional taxes and postage costs, or each country will have localised production is as as yet uncertain. The latter certainly makes the best sense, so we can probably expect to see items shipped from a warehouse in the Arctic Circle...
