Overview
Although this is not a technique we practice, it's a useful one for precision strikes. Because of the extended knuckles, it's not a technique to put great weight behind - at least not without considerable conditioning, but it's sill a technique that can inflict considerable damage.

Technique
Create a knife hand, then curl all fingers back at the first joint until they lay flat against the palm. Hold the hand tightly in this shape. Keep the thumb clenched against the edge of the hand to reinforce the bones of the palm. Deliver in a jabbing motion.
Strengths
Can be used for precision strikes like nukites and ippon kens, but has greater greater strength.
Weaknesses
The larger surface area makes it harder to strike small pressure points.
The extended knuckles mean the technique is weaker than a punch.
