Washide - Eagle beak

Red circle indicates striking surface

Overview
This has the same basic hand shape as the technique sometimes called chicken foot hand (but more properly called kakuto). However, whereas a kakuto uses the back of the wrist for striking or blocking, this uses the finger tips. Use with a loose, whipping wrist, like a back fist, to create maximum acceleration toward the target.

Striking targets
Any pressure points including temples, eyes, testicles, solar plexus

Technique
Bring the tips of your fingers tightly together. Ensure that the thumb is at the same level as the other finger tips as this will add additional tension to your forearm.

When striking allow the wrist to flick from backwards to forwards, in order to deliver maximum power. Strikie in an arcing motion.

Strengths

A reasonable way to attack vital points, and stronger than a single finger nukite.

Doesn't require a lot of wind up to deliver power

Weaknesses

Does not have body weight behind it
